Alvin C. Collins, III
Alvin C. Collins, III, has served on the Board of NuScale Power Corporation since February 25, 2021, and is Group President of Corporate Development and Sustainability at Fluor Corporation.
With over 30 years of experience at Fluor, Mr. Collins brings extensive expertise in business development, corporate planning, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) management to NuScale. He has held senior leadership roles across Fluor’s Energy and Chemicals business, including Senior Vice President of Global Operations, Global Business Development, and the Americas Region. His international leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of Operations for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, Vice President of Business Development for the Middle East and Africa, and General Manager of Fluor Arabia Limited.
Mr. Collins has supported projects across a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, biofuels, life sciences, wastewater treatment, gasification, and power generation and distribution. His global assignments span the U.S., the Netherlands, England, China, and major project sites worldwide. He brings valuable insight to NuScale through his deep expertise, global perspective, and strategic partnership experience with Fluor.
Mr. Collins earned a Bachelor of Science in construction science and management from Clemson University and completed the International Consortium program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
