Vice President of Regulatory Affairs
Tom Bergman is responsible for all licenses, certifications, relationships and activities related to the jurisdiction and authority of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC); U.S. and international client licensing support and other industry activities that involve nuclear regulatory issues.
Bergman has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry. He is a 23-year veteran of the NRC. His most recently held positions were in the Office of New Reactors as the deputy director for licensing operations and the director of the Division of Engineering. Other positions at the NRC included in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Region III, Region IV and the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research. Prior to the NRC Bergman worked for ARINC Research Corporation and the Naval Nuclear propulsion Directorate.
Bergman holds an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
