Strategic Consultants to NuScale

The industry’s most highly regarded experts and consulting firms have joined with NuScale to ensure the successful commercial development and deployment of the NuScale scalable, small reactor system.

MPR

MPR was founded in 1964, by three engineers who led the U.S. Navy nuclear power program. Their goal was to incorporate the same level of technical rigor, business integrity, and leadership into the world of commercial engineering. Today, this spirit thrives in an interdisciplinary company employing more than 170 engineers and scientists across a broad range of industries and applications. With more than 35 patents and ove 70 first-of-a-kind technology solutions, MPR is continually recognized for technical excellence in meeting demanding engineering challenges.

As a preeminent organization in today's nuclear industry, MPR actively pursues the highest standards of engineering excellence, professionalism and integrity. MPR is recognized as the leading specialty engineering company in the power industry, having provided technology solutions for every U.S. nuclear power plant and more than 150 plants worldwide since 1964.

MPR's Nuclear Services group offers clients a single, integrated resource that supports all power plant areas:

  • Design and construction
  • Licensing procedures
  • Operations and maintenance
  • Decommissioning

A privately owned company, MPR is independent of Engineer of Choice (EOC) and Nuclear Steam Supply Systems (NSSS) alliances. The company acts as a non-partisan agent that can provide inventive, often remarkably simple, solutions for overall and long-term plant interests. MPR helps bridge the gaps between architects and engineers, equipment vendors, and NSSS suppliers.

Studsvik Scandpower
